not what i expected
poor servicelimited housekeeping
the stay wasnt terrible, but some things weren't great. housekeeping only cleaned my room once of three nights. i also asked for a late checkout, and they only gave me one extra hour. these issues, especially since this is a five-star hotel.

I found a few things quite annoying . The in-room lighting was inadequate. It was hard to read. the promised upgrade never materialized. I did NOT like that. The minibar restock was inconsistent, and I had to call multiple times. It should have been better organized for a hotel of this supposed caliber.

I stayed five days with my son and it was amazing! fausto and ruggero are standouts. What a team. i never heard a no. They go above and beyond for their guests. the little details really made the difference. there were special pillow sprays to help you sleep better. I used them.
the staff seemed a bit overwhelmed, which sometimes led to slower service, so definitely a point for improvement there

the breakfast was phenomenal; it is definitely worth including in your stay! there was a wide selection of fresh fruits and pastries, plus hot dishes cooked to order. the coffee was strong; the juice was fresh.

the team is absolutely fantastic; ask for paulo! he will help with everything. guest relations assisted us with booking tours; it was a seamless process. every staff member i encountered was helpful and attentive!

the hotel is in a convenient location; it is within walking distance of the vittorio emmanuelle monument. it is also a seventeen minute walk to the colosseum; this makes sightseeing easy. there are quaint trattorias nestled nearby; it is easy to find great meals.

a roman escape

The location is the best. It's within walking distance of every significant site. the terrace view is amazing. breakfast was also great with many choices available. the bed was comfortable, the bathroom was quite nice, and the wifi worked without any problems. i would highly recommend this location.
the air vent made quite a lot of noise. i warned staff members on numerous occasions, but no one arranged for it to be fixed. they charged my friends twice for the tourist taxes. they also charged ours on their credit card.

the staff were incredibly nice and helpful during my stay. a special mention goes to giulia, she assisted us with table bookings. she also prepared a lovely surprise for my boyfriend's birthday making my stay memorable.

I found the staff to be helpful and attentive. They provided excellent recommendations and were always available to assist with any requests. The rooftop terrace offered wonderful views (it was a real highlight!).
The noise from nearby establishments late at night did occasionally disrupt the otherwise peaceful atmosphere within the room.

Really good Stay Near the Forum

The Collection Superior room had fine modern decor with quiet surroundings. The bed proved very comfortable and the marble bathroom included a heated floor. The location is very good and facilitates access to the forum. The rooftop bar has one of the best views in the city and offers great service.
The hotel doesn't have valet parking , made managing luggage difficult. The light in the room was poor and the hotel team could not fix it, I had to stay four nights with dim lighting. The shower flooded into the entire bathroom.

Staff members went out of their way to make my stay memorable, displaying warmth and attention. Agnese provided great help on the first day, and Giulia offered useful recommendations for restaurants and sightseeing. The team remembered guests by name, which created a personal touch.
